Trying out Resolve to see if it will be our replacement for Color. Imported XML from FCP 7, when it brings in my sequence everything is there, but the clips are not in the proper order. Am I doing something incorrectly, does FCP make bad XML, or does Resolve not interpret FCP XML correctly?

i have the same problem…apparently it comes down to how you recomform in davinci before you grade….i’ll be keeping an eye out for a solution from someone with experience in this….

    Hi,

Could you please send your XMLs to davincihelp (at) blackmagic-design.com, and we’ll take a look at the XML?

    Thanks,
    Rohit

An A/C sort order issue maybe?

There is a “master session” which has all the clips, and your conform. In the conform window, make sure you’re actually on your sequence.

I’ve done a few round trips with fcp7 and been very happy so far.
