    XML import to Premiere from FCP

    I am trying to export a sequence from FCP 7 to import into Premiere. My problem is that it changes my timings on clips with speed changes. Adobe’s website says that this is a bug that has been fixed in CS5.5 but I am still having the issue. Any suggestions?

    Export your speed change clips from FCP as self contained Quicktimes, with the speed changes “baked in”.
    Replace as needed.

    You didn’t think this would be totally seamless, did you?
