  xml import – removing effect references?

  Is there a way to open an xml in AE6, and rather than have AE tell me that some of the effects cannot be opened (because they are FCP effects) just give the option to remove all reference on the offending layers?

  I have lots of layers which now have the phrase “Color Corrector 3 way” covering them – I don’t want this on the track, as i will be rebuilding all effects from scratch anyway…

  any ideas how to purge the layers of everything except the raw video?
