    XL2 Audio fallout when playing in another XL2

    Hi everyone,

    I have 2 XL2’s. I use one for shooting and the other for playback capture. XL2a (the shooting cam) records and plays back audio perfectly but the firewire port is broken. When I take the tape to XL2b (importing cam) the audio drops in and out (but mostly out) during cam play back and during capture into PP5.5. Both cams are set to record 16 bit audio.

    I have cleaned the heads on both to no avail.

    Does anyone know what may be causing this?
