  XF305 lcd screen sometimes goes off, but if I tap it, it comes back on?

  My Canon XF305 LCD screen sometimes goes off, but if I slightly tap it, it comes back on?
  My guess is that it’s probably a connection issue with the ribbon cable going to the LCD but I wanted to ask if others have come across this issue and how serious is it.
  It happens rarely but I don’t want it to happen mid project so was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they resolved it, (was it expensive, did they repair it themselves? can they recommend a reasonable repair centre that’s not too expensive)
