    Hey guys,

unfortunatly I tried to work with two monitors to try out following issue. But I got some problems with my second monitor (Sony LCD monitor – LMD-2030W), so I can’t try it out.

    So my issue:
Is it possible to view my clip in XDcamTransfer in full resolution on one monitor and while the clip is played, can I write comments and so on in the fields on my other monitor?
Or will be the full resolution clip be played back on both monitors?
And it is important, that the clip is still played back, when I write my comments. So I can save time.

Would be great, if somebody maybe works like things, or has already tried, and found out that it doesn’t work like this.

If there is any question you need to answer, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Kind regards.
    Maria

XDCAM Transfer doesn’t have the capability to do what you want. There are only two windows, the Browser and Activity windows. The Browser window cannot be split up. The workaround is to use Sony’s Clip Browser at the same time. Drag Clip Browser to your second screen, highlight the first clip you wish to play back and hit the Option and Return keys. This puts Clip Browser in full screen mode. In XDCAM Transfer just choose the same clip and compose your comments as the Clip Browser plays back the same one.

To return to normal display mode in Clip Browser use the escape key.

A Late Thanks to you, Don.
Sounds like a good work around.

I will try it the next time.

    Kind Regards.
