XDCAM Software problem with Yosemite
Posted by Jurgen e. Tabaku on October 27, 2014 at 11:56 pmI recently updated my laptop to Yosemite. The problem that I am having now is that I am unable to download XDCAM Transfer but every time I give it a try it gives me an error message saying: “10.4 (Tiger) required. XDCAM Transfer requires 10.4 or better.” Has anyone else encountered this problem or has any ideas on how to fix it?
Thank you!
I am what I am.

October 29, 2014 at 10:15 pmAlthough I’m a user and fan of Transfer I believe that it has long been superseded by Browser and even something else, so you won’t get it to work with Yosemite. Why they can’t leave things alone when they work perfectly well always amazes me.

November 24, 2014 at 10:10 pmAny fix to this? Yosemite looks like 10.1 to XDCAM installer, but it is in fact 10.10. XDCAM installer can’t figure this out.
Hmmmmm.

December 3, 2014 at 9:06 pmXDCAM Transfer is end of life so it’s not supported beyond Mavericks. I’m in the same boat.
