Hope someone has some suggestions because are tapped out…
We are working on AVID Express Pro’s (5.77) and have recently started ingesting the footage from 23.98 XDCAM disks. Everything works fine on the picture side, but for some reason, there is no way to ingest anything but the proxy audio as well. It sounds like cr#& so we have been trying to uprez the audio only once we get a Rough Cut.
Here’s our work-flow so far: decompose the sequence in Media Composer, assign tape labels to the clips that correspond to the appropriate disk labels and then we batch capture the audio out of the AES/EBU audio outputs to a Media Composer with SDI Mojo.
Everything seems to be working fine but it turns out that all of the clips are wrong. Time codes match and everything but it is all the incorrect audio.
    Any ideas out there?
    Thanks,
