I sure hope someone has the answer to this question. I have been working on a project in FCP that used XDCAM HD footage. The project setting was XDCAM 1080i/ 60, CBR. I have rendered it out before both as that codec, as well as ProRes and there was not an issue. The computer that I was working on died, and we got another one to finish this project. Now, after reconnecting all of the media, most of the footage has horizontal lines running through the video.

What is causing these lines? What I can do to fix this issue? Is it a render setting in the project?
I left it making a file in Compressor de-interlacing, to see if that would fix the issue. Will check in the morning.

I am just hoping that someone has run in to this issue, and would know what I can do to fix it.

    Thanks,

The i in 1080i stands for interlaced. This means that the footage is made of alternating fields and is what is causing horizontal lines to appear. Depending on what the footage will be used for (web, TV, etc.), you could de-interlace the clips that have these lines. There are plenty of tutorials for doing this.
