XDCAM EX and Avid Aren’t being Nice
Hello,
I’m stumped on how to work with XDCAM EX footage inside Avid AMA 5.0 or 5.5.1.
The BPAV folders are intact, but I cannot manage to link clips via AMA Volume or AMA Individual File. I have XDCAM transfer also on the computer, and it reads/views the BPAV folder just fine. I continually get the “There were errors linking AMA files. See console for details.” I tried the process with Final Cuts Log and Transfer and it works like a charm, but no such luck with AMA. I believe I have the proper codecs downloaded for Avid, does anyone have any advice?
