    Hello,

I have shot some clip with the SONY EX1R in 720p 50fps and 25fps. I would like to mix it like the 50p clips would be slower than the 25p. I have made a ProRES 720p25 timeline and Imported the 50p clip to it but It’s normal speed.

    Do you have any idea?

    Thanks
    Gary

Open your 50fps clips in Cinematools and use the Conform option to change the speed to 25fps.

Thanks for the fast answer. At the time I have found a video tutorial on this site. Only thing I had to do the Recompress the clip to ProRES 422.

    Best Regards
    Gary

    Hi Gergo,
Yes, you need to transcode first, because CinemaTools can not run in GOPs stuff.
BE CAREFUL and duplicate the clips that you want to slow down. The “Conforming” has no way back.
