    XDCam Deck Playback Intermittent Audio

    Has anyone experienced this?: We have been experimenting with using an XDCam disk as a storage medium for a project when finished.

    I finished my edit on Avid Media Composer. I took the XDCam disk formatted in SD and deleted the no longer needed source material for the project. Reformatted the disk the same as before. Then, using the Avid I go to the Output —-> Export to Device —-> XDCam.

    This all works fine, but when I playback the new file rendered on the XDCam disk, the audio is intermittent. This can happen at any point as well. Any ideas what is going on?

    It’s a mismatch in sampling rate from what the Avid is outputing to what the deck is recording. 48 vs 44.
