From reading older posts, it seems the ways to use XDCAM in Premiere include:

    1. Import MXF files using Cineform plugin

    2. Use Axio

    3. Capture to HD MJPEG or DVCPRO, such as with Blackmagic or AJA cards

    Has this changed with CS3?

What are the current options, and what do you need for hard drives?

    Thanks

    Mike

It appears that Mainconcept has a Premiere plugin for most flavors of HD, otherwise Cineform.

We use MainConmcept and recently we have been crashiung alot and having alot of issues. We suspect its because of larger videos that were editing, though it is only about 10 minutes, we have ALOT of clips… Still searching for a solution, we tried adding more RAM and getting new video cards, but still no luck..
