  XDCAM and CS4

  Hi,
  I’m trying to edit xdcam footage – XD-cam files, shot at 60i, 1080 lines.

  I have Premiere 4.0.

  I got “proxy” files along with the much larger xdcam files.

  Premiere plays the proxies, but not the xdcam files. Do I need a codec? Where do I download it? Does it cost$?

  Forgive the newby questions.
