XD CAM transfer causes FCP crash

Hi Steve, thanks for your response. i did download sony xdcam transfer software and managed to import the files from the card.

i have a fresh problem here. the producers have transfered some files on to there windows laptop using xdcam browser and erased them from the card. Now, i just have mp4 and xml files left in the disk.
HOW DO I IMPORT THEM IN FCP?
