The MXF file as rendered looks and sound great. But, when I try to encode H.264 in Handbrake I get a “unknown PCM” indication in the Handbrake Audio source info and, when encoded, the audio is way fast. Media info shows the original 3 min 15 seconds of audio to be only ! min and 57 secs long. Anybody know what’s going on here? Am I using the wrong digital intermediate file type? Help. Head banging about to ensue.

MXF audio is normally has each audio channel in a separate audio stream. Two streams for stereo. Handbrake cannot handle these separated audio streams.
