Has anyone heard any rumors regarding potential upgrades to the X-Serve scheduled to be announced at NAB? If so does anyone know the number of editors that will potentially be able to be using boxes hooked up to one and the bandwith involved? Also, anything about FCP 6 or Extreme?

To clarify, I meant to say the X-serve RAID.

If you want more than two “boxes” hooked up to an x-Raid, then you’re going to need some kind of SAN software. Apple’s solution is called “X-SAN” and it allows you to connect many FCP systems to the same shared storage. Go to the Apple website and search for “X-SAN” for more details.
