X-OCN, Proxy’s and Asset Management System
Good day all,
As we begin implementing X-OCN, one question I have is can we seamlessly connect the ProRes proxy files stored on our asset management system with X-OCN files stored on a separate drive? Our asset management won’t store X-OCN so we have to dual record ProRes and X-OCN. So, we edit with the proxy’s then go to X-OCN files for finishing. Will everything (TC/audio/etc.) remain the same (all of the clips on the timeline) within the adobe premiere pro project when we link from the proxy to X-OCN? Are there any surprises or goodies we should know about? Thanks for your help.
J
