    Hello,
besides the obvious feature set of each card, what other benefits does each card offer, i.e. when not in FCP, what unique features do these cards offer. WYSIWYG for iMotion2, Quicktime, Photoshop, etc.?

    Pro’s and Con’s ?

Thanks in advance to those that respond

Can’t speak for the Decklink card, but can tell you you have external video for AE and Motion with a Kona 2.

Decklink works for external monitoring in FCP, Shake, Combustion, and Motion. I’ve used it for each.

[AJPME] “Does the Kona 2 have external monitor support for Shake?”

The Kona hardware products have support for all RGBA apps – that would include Shake, AE, Combustion, Commotion,
    Motion, Live Type, Soundtrack Pro
