  • Wrong sequence settings… how to fix?

So in a nutshell, I was stupid and have edited a music video with 1080p ProRes 4444 23.98fps clips in a 640×480 30fps sequence, and of course when I change the sequence settings or put them into a correct sequence, the clips are all small. Is there a way to fix this…?

Transfer the clips on the timeline while keeping the placements and reusing the clips themselves, if ya know what I mean?
Exporting it to 1080 30fps (or 23.98?) and using the master shots as a backdrop for the clips I want to composite over, hoping it won’t look too bad?

Can you explain to me how you fixed this? I have the reverse problem… stupidly created a sequence in 16:9 and footage is 4:3. Image is blown up when I change the setting to 4:3. Can you help?
