    Wrong resolution in program monitor ! Premiere CS3

    Hi there

    I have the CS3 version

    I wonder why the program monitor doesn’t have the same resolution as the source monitor ? See image !

    I keep getting these black lines at the sides and don’t know how to get rid of them.

    I have tried making a new sequence but there are no settings that adjust resolution.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated !

    It looks like you have a mismatch between your raw clip and your timeline.

    My guess is that you’re putting a SD clip into an HD timeline. Since the aspect ratios are different, it’s pillar boxing the sequence in the program monitor.
