hi all,
I found difficulties makinig fireworks from Delerium Digieffects to emit their sparkles and make writing , i mean i want this effect to to take the shape of the letters once they explode.
it was very easy to do that in past years using 3d sudio3 in dos enviroment by configuring IPAS effects .
i wounder if can see this effect acieved in AE.is there any way to do it in illusion or Trapcode Particulrs.

Dear Badar
This is possible by defining a path a particle illussion using bezier handles. For this please read PI3’s step by step tutorials and you will get your required effect within particle illusion. You can then output your movie in AVI format and importa as footage in after effects.Otherwise, I have seen a tutorial on scripting from Ebberts here, but not sure where I saw that. That also shows you to create some very col effects using particle playground in AE.

particleIllusion offers the ability to use an image as the emission source. You can use the features called “Area Emitter mask,” or “Get Colors from Layer.”
