    Hi guys,

i am trying since 5 hours to find out how to do plugin-coding for aftereffects.

My Problem is, that i want to do a time-based plugin. Maybe some of you will know it from my previous posts, what i was doing. I did a littl scriptig, and for that i would like to do my first plugin.

Is it really so, that out there is no information about it. I saw so many pkg files but no one with that wha ti want. i think you can only modify the image.

The first step would be to download the SDK, read the PDF doc, and study some of the many example plug-ins that are included:

In addition to Dan’s suggestion, I recommend going through Kas’s tutorial linked to from the “Plug-ins” page of After Effects Help.

Also, note that there is a dedicated place for asking questions about the After Effects SDK.
