[Arnljot Bringedal] “2 cams – wirecast – Adobe live media encoder – Flash media server… “

The Telestream Wirecast folks are getting lots of requests for flash support. I know I’ve put in mine. It doesn’t work with Adobe live media encoder (which is Windows only btw) . . . yet. I’m thinking they may work out something with Adobe though. I don’t think they can say concretely where this is going yet but this seems to be a “hot” (high demand) idea.

One thing to keep in mind is that h.264 (which Wirecast can do) is in and of itself Flash supported. Wirecast is using rtsp. When I asked the Telestream folks about flash support they did say that
    Wowza Media Systems
will take the H.264 and rtsp and convert to rtmp and serve as Flash.
In other words, it ties you into Wowza but you can do that now if you’d like.

Ultimately lots of people would like to use Wirecast as a front end for services like Mogulus or Ustream (both can use Adobe live media encoder) so I think Telestream is looking at this.

So, is there any way to integrate wowza and FMS?

I mean push the RTSP stream to Wowza and then push it forward (RTMP) to and FMS so I can delivery it in my existent infrastructure…
