trying to get the hang of it… dumb question im sure but does motion require a new project for every template you use even if they are from the same family? In other words say I use and opening and then want to flow to a lower third template how do I get them both in the same timeline?

    Thanks!

Yeas yo can have two in the same project. All you have to do is when you open your lower third press F5 open layer pane and copy the group in which the template resides then and paste it into the project you want. It is like moving a group from Photoshop from one canvas to another. Best of Luck…

You can also drag a motion project from the file browser into the layers pane of another project. All the projects layers will copy into the new project.
