working with media in Vegas
Hi I’m a newbie to Vegas, trying it due to lack of support for the EX1 camera in other apps.
In Avid (and also in Premiere) I could label each shot and give names and descriptions to facilitate easier editing and matching of shots. I do realize that I can do this with Media Manager, but I can’t seem to load files to the trimmer from the Media Manager, thus making it sort of not useful.
In the Project Media window I can rename the original files but I cannot label them or edit the Video Capture comment.
Any suggestions?Amit

You can create sub-clips and label them however you want. You can also create bins in the Project Media and copy clips and sub-clips into the various bins to further organize the clips.
