Working with dpx on blackmagic
Hi just got a dpx file project, i have a blackmagic hd extreme card, my question is as dpx files are big i want to convert them to some proxy format, default adobe premiere takes insaine time to convert can i convert this footage into some avi using decklink media express?

I don’t believe so. Media Express is a capture/playback software. I don’t see anyway for it to edit or convert a file.
Sony vegas Pro 10 works with DPX files now. You can download a free trial version and see if it renders faster than Premier.
