Working with Alpha Channels and Proxys
Is there anyway to take advantage of alpha channels while editing with Proxys?
I’m trying to add in some graphics that I exported from After Effects with an alpha channel. Of course I can turn off Proxys and see what it looks like, but my playback is crippled when I do that.

Nope- proxy mode is ProRes proxy so no alpha channels. That’s not to say you couldn’t just toggle back to Original mode to check the alpha channel.
