  working with a piece of footage from Premiere to AE

  I normally export from Premiere to After Effects and back when working on NTSC 4:3 video clips. How do I retain quality when exporting and importing footage back and forth (numerous times) between Premiere and AE? I noticed that doing it uncompressed increases the gigs even if I just added very minimal effects. What export settings will I use for Premiere? What export settings should I use for Afer Effects?
