    Hello —

I’ve been asked to do a medley cut out of several small films I did, point is: the only source clips I’m left with for those are WMV 1280x720p exports.

My question is what would be the best way to reimport these into a timeline, cut, add some titles, a little graphic design and export to 1280x720p so I don’t lose too much quality ?

E.g. any particular sequence format to use, “tricks” or dos and donts?

    TIA.

WMV’s can be edited with FCP, however they don’t work with RT extreme (the real time playback of unrendered effects). If it were me, I’d transcode them to QT movies first, not changing the frame size nor the frame rate. ProRes would be my choice for the codec used.

Thanks, I converted everything to PRORES HQ with MPEG Streamclip ; looks about ok.

    Thanks again for your input.
