Workflow novice questions between Premiere Pro-After Effects
First question:
I asume working with a huge loseless exported video from premiere in After Effects might make it almost impossible to edit without it freezing (and my computer is dual core intel and 4gigs ddr with a graphic card Nvidia GeForce 7950GT). Am I right?Second question:
Are there any tips to work with loseless to optimize the editing process? Appart from lowering the resolution of the composition preview window.Third question:
Also, is this the best way to do it? Edit a video with premiere, and then export it loseless, and finish it with after effects?Fourth question:
Is the following possible without messing the right timing at some point?:
1: Export an edited video to loseless with Premiere
2: Use virtualdub to compress it to Divx (for example)
3: Import the Divx with After Effects and apply all of the effects on top of an adjustment layer.
4: Once finished replace the divx file behind the adjustment layer with a loseless one and export loseless again.
5: Compress with VirtualdubFifth question:
Which is, as of today, the best compressing codec you can think of in order to release a video into youtube or vimeo? I have used Divx until now, got nice ressults with 310mb 9,5 minutes of footage and 720p at 3000kbps and 48khz audio. But does this sound right with that setup? Thanks beforehand, I understand these are a lot of questions 😛
