I’m starting to use Motion more and am just trying to find out what’s the most efficient way to do multiple say lower 3rds. I’m working on a podcast, but it’d work for tv, What’s the best way to have all the same effects with just the name change?
Would you set it up, then when you change the name name save it as ____?
I would be using this in FCP. I’m just trying to find the best way to do this.Stussey

Making your own templates with Drop zones would be the best way.

If you are doing a lot of these, AutoMotion from Digital Heaven can pump out a slew of Motion projects based on a template you give it and a database of text you import. Super-fast to update them all as well.
