    Hello,

I have been given some AVCHD 3D files which i need to convert to Quicktime and edit with.

I have never worked with this before, so any help on how i can convert both Left and Right files into a quicktime and what the work flow for editing these with Final Cut Pro is would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

Before you dive into your project, you will need to learn the proper tapeless media workflow.

    Start with Shane Ross’ tutorial.

Hint: There is a tab above.

To work with left/right camera in FCP7 you’ll have to use either stereo3d toolbox plugin or Neo3d. Both apps are commercially available. Before you start I strongly suggest you to take your time and read as much as you can in regard of stereo film production. Otherwise you risk end up with technically-impaired movie.

If one wanted to split the AVCHD 3D into Left Right has anyone found easy/cheap way to do this on Mac and obtain FCP compatible Left Right videos?

    Thanks
