    Hi everyone,
I am putting together a video that has footage I am trying to mask in using a lot of INK BLOT videos.
The basic concept is this couple is walking down this beach at sunset and the background is being masked in with this gradual spot, spot, spot of INK BLOT masks.

To accomplish this I am having to duplicate the mask and video for every new spot I want to be revealed.
The masks start in the lower left corner and gradually travel to the far right.

Is this the most efficient way to use the masks?
I feel like there has to be a better way that doesn’t involve duplicating all the art assets over and over and over.

    Thank you so much

You should use as few masks as possible. Then look at keyframing the mask’s Path property to change its shape/position.
