workflow (AE CS3 to Cinema4D)
Hi everyone
Recently I completed a project based on Bill O’Neill’s big ten stage and he’s absolutely right in his tutorial about the freedom building in AE gives you regarding camera movement.
My question relates to the 2 1/2 D aspect of AE modelling. I also have Cinema4D and it occurs to me that the best way to achieve a virtual stage would be to build the world in C4D, but C4D isn’t best placed to animate a camera based on imported footage, let alone chromakeying.
Is there a way to build a proxy world in AE and edit the cameras, then import the camera movement and locations into C4D to render out a 3D version before bringing back to AE for compositing?
