    Whenever I shorten my work area in After Effects and RAM Preview, it still renders past the boundaries of the work area. This is especially annoying in big projects where I need to preview a small portion at the beginning and AE can’t render all of the audio for the whole comp. Anyone know why this happens?

    Check your playback panel and ensure that “Play from current time” is unchecked.
