Work Area Bar keeps collapsing; moving to far right
The Work Area Bar in my current project at some point has collapsed. There is no bar anymore, just the two end “handles”. And they have moved waay to the far right of the time ruler. I can’t move them. I can open the bar up again. And now I can’t render and previews. Also, the background color of the time ruler is a light purple instead of the usual gray.
Anyone have any clue why this is happening?2009 Intel MacPro

I do not know if this applies to macs also:
reboot with holding shift+alt(cmd?) until welcome screen.
Also clean out the media cashe in the preferences.———————————————–
