Won’t shut down
My G5 won’t shut down without holding the power button. Also can’t get software updates. Happened after I wiped and reinstalled the OS to my 320gb drive from my 500gb firewire using Carbon Copy Cloner.

Had to do a fresh install from disks and that seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks.
