Would appreciate if anyone could take a few moments to check the following.

With browser in list view hit play to begin viewing a clip. Arrow up or down to move to another clip (while still in play mode).

Does the new clip begin smoothly or does your clip play for a frame or two and then begin playing correctly again from start, sort of a stutter, as mine does?

I am also seeing clip video not playing (just stuck on still frame) if I switch from timeline playback to clip playback quickly.

I have a kick-ass machine so these kinds of things are not impressive for an app that is selling itself heavily as performance focused.

    Thanks,

    Lance

I have a reasonably unimpressive machine & in my case if I browse clips in list view while playing them the video starts playing for 5 frames, then it plays those 5 frames in reverse (perhaps the stutter that you were talking about) & finally it plays them smoothly.

Hopefully it helps, if not start chanting “its Beta software, its Beta software” & it will surely help 😉

Very Odd, I tried the same thing with the same footage & this time there were no hiccups .

I have a 2007 MacPro and I reliably see this glitch.

Can’t check at the moment, but I’ve noticed that having other apps running does affect performance.

For instance, last night (with this forum open in Safari), I was experiencing similar behavior. Also noticed lots of beachball when TimeMachine kicked in.

Big improvement after I quit everything else.
