wonder question
my avid doesn’t like to make large files ( more than 2 – 3 GB )
this is great disadvetage…so why should i keep using it if i have to split my movie and than stich it in AE or other program..what is so special in Avid that doesn’t excist in SonyVegas or else ( except of the fact that it is all real time ofcourse that also exist in SonyVegas)
its important to notice that i m a privet user with a good PC and Avid pro 4 installed on it.

What type of file (.mov? .avi? something else?) and what happens when you try and make a large file? Do you get any error messages?
When you say “Avid pro 4,” do you mean Avid Xpress Pro 4.x? What exact version are you using?
