This little thing will record ANYTHING you can play on your Mac, in ANY format you want at any sample rate, and leave a self-contained audio file on your desktop. It is just the coolest little thing, even has an equalizer in it with presets, or you can set your own. $19 is all it costs, from Ambrosia Software.

Also handy for scratch VO as it’ll record right to your built in mic or any USB or mini plug you might have.
