    Hello,

Is there a Mic you could recommend for my use?

1- Use in field by subjects with no Mic Skills

2- Plug into Shure SLX 1 Body Pack (TA4F)

    3- Take some abuse

4- Lav or ear mount boom type.

    Thanks for any suggestions

    John

Hello John and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,

At the moment, I know of no mic that can be used BOTH as a lav or over the ear.

    Regards,

    Ty Ford

    Hi Ty,

Sorry I was not more clear.

1- I am looking for a recommendation for a lav mic.

2- I am looking for a recommendation for an over the ear mic.

Which ever type that will work best for the above requirements.

I am not asking for a lav mic that will double as an over the ear mic.

    Again sorry for the confusion.

    John

    John,

    No Problem.

This one from AT works well for me and is pretty sturdy as far as lavs go. You can get it with different terminations.

For over the ear, I like the Countryman E6. I used one hard-wired on Gerry Clarke for his vocals on this shoot.
