Wireframe resizing issue…
Hi…havent found a for sure answer to this…
I just transferred an old TV show (taken from VHS) and re-edited the job, and have made a final H.264 ready for an upload. I made a mistake by not making the main clip slightly larger than the actual canvas, and have ended up with a rather jagged edge with a blue strip running all down the right and left side.
It’s my fault for not noticing this during the editing process. I could have made the entire 50min clip slightly bigger (in the viewer with the wire frame) before I made in and out points. But too late now…
Well, I know how to fix this on each individual clip – but there are many clips – and that will take a lonnnng time.
“Is there a way I can select all the clips in the timeline – and tell FCP to resize each clip slightly bigger so’s that I get a crisp edge?” This is for upload on the internet, and not for a DVD output. So the edge needs to be sharp. It’s a 720 x 480. Thanks in advance for a possible shortcut, hopefully.– Jonny

Scale up one clip. Highlight it in your timeline and copy it (Command + C)
Highlight the rest of the clips in the timeline, Right – Click, Paste Attributes. Choose Basic Motion
