Wire removal – 16bit?
Can anyone recommend a wire removal tool, like CC Simple Wire, that works in 16 bit and wont cost me $250! For the scene I am busy with CC Wire works well (nice straight wires and soft focus background.)
Problem is its an 8-bit effect and I need to preserve my 16 bit work flow.

PS I did check through the archive and found Film Gimp (not Mac based) and Composite Wizard ($250). Synthetic App’s interface is daunting and not ideal (it also crashed the app several times.) Combustion seems to not exist any longer(?) -

I’m looking for the same thing, however, something BETTER than the CC-wire removal. Currently I’m painting by hand on offset-frames. Works well but takes very long time.
