Hi all, hopefully you can help. Doesn’t seem too complex, but I’m definitely missing something.

    I have a iMac CoreDuo 20″
    Windows XP and MacOSX
Airport Extreme with HP printer connected.
In all, I have 4 macs on the network, all print via Airport or ethernet (including iMac Intel–airport)

When I switch to Windows and try to print, it does not see the printer, and when I go to install printer, it doesn’t see it. Windows is definetely on the network…I can surf the net, etc…

Any ideas? Am I missing an Airport printer driver from Bootcamp?

    Thanks
    Ron

Have you gone to the printer manufactuer’s web site and downloaded the Windows driver for that model?

I’d start with that…not sure it will fix it totally, but let us know once you’ve tried that.

oh yeah….drivers!! I’m so spoiled with the “it just works” Mac. It’s a new printer, so I have the install disk. I’ll give it a try.
But I thought at the very least Windows would see something.

Thanks, I’ll let you know how it goes.

    Hi Jeff,
Thanks for gettin back to me again.

    I FINALLY solved the problem.
I had to install Bonjour for Windows XP from the Apple site.

I was up and running in about 5 minutes after that!
The link is below for anyone trying to print via Airport from WindowsXP (iMac Intel)

    Thanks for updating us!

Good to know, I don’t know if I would have ever thought of that.
