    I created a video within Sequence 1:
4 minutes 50 seconds long which has 4 minutes 50 seconds of video clips and 2 audio files one that ends halfway through and one that starts half way through. Also a couple of title screens and a couple of small images.

There are about 80 video clips in total, of which 2 I want to play sound and the rest I dont, so I individually double clicked each video clip, went to effects > volume > then changed the volume DB to -287(the minimum to ensure there is no volume). Is this the correct way to go about it, toke a long time to change each one.

I have a C2D CPU 4gb ram and 50gb free on my sata drive(C:) with a 256mb Nvidea Video Card running windows xp pro.

When I go to (export > movie) a box comes up which usually says something like 500/2500 frames complete time remaining etc, instead it has no bars and says compiling movie then I get the windows error report window come up asking to send or not to send error report.

Looking for hours with no one with the same problem, any ideas?
