Will this battery work with my HMC-150 and the battery charger I have?
I just bought this battery for use with a SmallHD DP6. It’s a CGR-D54. I cant seem to be able to answer this question: will it work with the HMC-150 I have? To charge the batteries I have for my HMC-150, I have a Panasonic VW-AD20 charger. Can I charge it with this?
If anyone knows of good sites for answering these questions in the future, I’d love to know it.

Hi,
That battery is for the HPX170, the HVX200 and the DVX100 series. Or in other words, no it will not work on your HMC150.
This site seems to be as good as any in answering those types of questions.

Why is that? I own a 170, and borrow a 150 for 2 camera shoots and it would be so much easier on us not to have have a 2 different types of batteries, AC adapters / batteries, etc. BTW when will the 160 be available? We are waiting to buy 3!

I just tried a SD-VWBG6, and the camera recognizes it and turns on with it, but I haven’t fully run it out yet so we’ll see how long it lasts. It’s a 7.2 V 5400 mAh battery.
