After being struck down by the AJA T-TAP not converting in FCP7, I’m gun shy about this unit if it only works in FCPX. The sales matrix says doesn’t say yes or not…FCP7 just is not listed.

It was designed at a time that FCP7 was the dominate player. It worked fine in my experience. I would stay way from the later drivers until you can test them.

It works. I just captured Digibeta tapes using it last week, and I use it all the time to monitor my FCP 7 and Avid MC 7 timelines…as I now use my Laptop as my main edit machine over my aging Tower.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Shane…

Do you know whether the io XT will work with FCP 7 and the new Yosemite OS?

    Thank you for your feedback.
