    Hey all,

I’ve been mulling over a Snow Leopard upgrade now that Avid v4 supports it, and obviously so does FCP (I have to edit in both worlds). My concern is that Leopard seemed to slow down from Tiger. Is Snow Leopard going to slow me down on my older intel mac pro 2×3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon from 2006, 12 gigs of Ram, ATI 3870 graphics card? I have this deep suspicion that this is how Apple gets older systems like my 2006 intel mac pro, to upgrade to newer systems by making their newest operating systems get slower and slower as they become more processor intensive. I’ve done searches on this forum and barefeats and couldn’t come up with anything on this (snow leopard on older mac pros)…

    Thoughts?
