  • will motion run on a new ibook with a 9550?

Has anyone actually tried this? The 9550 is core image accelerated so I believe it should work.

I know it’s not going to be fast but it could be alright for whipping up quick animated titles
    on the go….

very interested to know if it works

    thanks

According to specifications it will not run.

That’s why I’m going to buy PowerBook.

the specification don’t mean squat….it hasn’t been updated for sometime

I was hoping someone could actually try it……

what’s important is if the 9550 supports the right ARB_FRAGMENT_SHADER extensions
    and I believe it does…

I have a Powerbook and Motion will run on it. However, actually running and running well are two different things. If you can get it to run on a system that is sub-specs I can’t imagine being too excited about the performance results.
